Mirror Mirror on the Wall

“A mirror can define the distinctive personality of a room as much as any piece of furniture. It can be a clear statement of style, a piece of art that not only reflecting but enhancing the visual impact.” says Diane Watts. No longer a mere accessory, mirrors have taken centre stage. Rooms are designed and even created with the mirror as a central focus. In fact, mirrors with a commanding personality have become an essential in the design repertoire.

In creating her unique designs, Diane draws inspiration from a deep reservoir of knowledge and experience. Whether reinventing an understated antique English mirror that held pride of place in her parents’ home, as her own classic Tuxedo mirror, or re-interpreting discoveries from art filled visits to Madrid, St Petersburg, London or Istanbul Diane’s creative mind is constantly at work. Not infrequently the muse comes in the still of the night with an exciting new idea that simply cannot wait for morning.
